With ZERO hardware, tools, drilling or any modifications required, the Grate Mates allow you to raise the level of your charcoal basket three different positions higher, OR lower the level of your cooking grate three positions lower.

Also an ideal way of mounting a heat deflector plate.

Searing steaks right over hot lump charcoal or getting that perfect rotisserie cook result is now a breeze.

Made from 2mm laser cut Stainless Steel - they will last a lifetime.

These are a MUST for any Pit Barrel owner and perhaps other than an offset, makes the Pit Barrel cooker the only pit you'll ever need!

Note: These will fit the first gen pit barrels but do require the removal of the nut on the inside of the barrel, mounting the Grate Mates and then refixing nut.
